Determination of the Stationary Temperature Field
of a Spheroid Under Boundary Conditions of the First Kind |

The article is devoted to the issues of stationary thermal conductivity in a sphere under boundary
conditions of the fi rst kind. At fi rst, the fi eld in the ball was determined when a part of its surface
corresponding to a given ball segment remains at a given temperature, and the other part has the
opposite temperature value. When fi nding a solution, the method of decomposition into a series
containing Legendre polynomials is used. The resulting formulas are obtained in a spherical coordinate system. Based on the obtained solution, the case of a cut elongated spheroid was considered,
when the surface of rotation is maintained at a given temperature, and the plane of the slice has a
temperature equal to zero. The paper also considered a special case for a cutoff compressed spheroid.
