INFLUENCE OF THE METHOD FOR DETERMINING THERMOPHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF COAL COMBUSTION PRODUCTS TO THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT |

The article shows that the method of determining the heat transfer coefficient of coal combustion products using the values of the dynamic viscosity and thermal conductivity coeffi cients obtained by simplified formulas and by the Wilkie method and the Mason and Saxen equation has a significant impact on the accuracy of the thermal calculation result. The values of the heat transfer coefficients, with a simplified definition of the coeffi cients of dynamic viscosity and thermal conductivity, exceed the values obtained using the Wilkie method and the Mason and Saxen equations.
