Engineering Physics Annotation << Back Group analysis of the equations of the electromagnetic field of high-frequency inductive discharge of a finite length Kirpichnikov A.Р. The results of the group analysis of equations of the quasi-stationary electromagnetic field of high-frequency inductive discharge of a finite length, in which we construct the Lie algebra of infinitesimal operators and the groups of transformations, admitted by the equations of the electromagnetic field in the discharge, and also found independent basic scalar invariants (collectively forming the universal invariants) these groups of transformations. The equations of the electromagnetic field are written for the new variables, which is the scalar invariants of groups of transformation. It is noted that due to this procedure, the number of equations in these systems can be reduced. In this form, the equations are more suitable for subsequent numerical solution of the known methods of finite-difference solution of differential equations (for example, using an implicit scheme with half the weight), of course, subject to the correct assignment of certain boundary conditions. This is particularly important due to the fact that, in its classic form the equations of electromagnetic field do not allow numerical solution by any of the standard methods of the explicit scheme - Euler, Runge-Kutta, Adams and their variants, since the first derivatives of the unknowns and therefore the right parts of the corresponding equations are equal to zero on the axis of the plasmoid.
