Engineering Physics Annotation << Back Instability of a Conservative System With a Small Delay Tumanov M.P., Abdullin S.R., Pham Xuan Fang The article studies the unusual effect of time delay on conservative systems. It is shown that accounting for time delay can lead to system instability and loss of conservativity, and a theorem is proved that this is likely to occur for sufficiently small time delays.
