Adaptive Adjustment of Azimuth Diagram |

Adaptive diagram adjustment intended for interference sectors suppression and other sectors preservation.
This operation performed by multicomponent antenna. It includes spike subantennas located in pentagon
apexes and have partial lambert diagrams in azimuth plane. Preliminary estimation of multicomponent
antenna field is linear combination of basis functions correspondent to subantennas. Linear combination
coefficients defined from linear system whose second member are signal statuses for interference
situations. Directional diagram is normalized square of multicomponent antenna fi eld formed on the
base of preliminary estimation using interference statuses. At interference absence azimuth diagram has
fi ve lobes with maximums correspondent to components polar angles. At interference presence azimuth
diagram represents wide – angle lobe with maximum correspondent to polar angle of interference free
component. External angle sectors are locked providing interference suppression. Developed method
embrace also intermediate situations with interferences in 2–3 sectors.
