Study of Phase Equilibriums of Binary Systems Target

Phase equilibria have been experimentally determined using a constant-volume optical cell for the binary
systems ethyl acetate-CO2
, ethyl oleate-CO2
, ethyl oleate-C2
H6 , ethyl oleate-freon R404A, ethyl palmitateCO2
, ethyl palmitate-C2
H6 , ethyl palmitate-freon R404A. In addition to the two-phase region, the results
also cover the near-critical state for mixtures. When passing the critical point, the phenomenon of
critical opalescence was observed. Data processing was carried out by the gravimetric (weight) method
of analyzing liquid and gas phase samples. The research results show good convergence for systems
involving CO2
within the measurement uncertainty. Data on phase equilibria with freon R404A were
obtained for the first time. The results presented in the work will be in demand for optimizing extraction
and separation processes, where carbon dioxide, ethane and freon R404A are used as solvents.
