Dispersion Losses Influence on Communication Range |

Linear losses at power dispersion stipulate for end formulas transformation into transcendent equations
solvable by dichotomy method. Here considered such transformation for formulas based on radar equation
and on quadratic (interference) Vvedensky formula. These methods allow considering communication
range for mutually exclusive situations:
– for irradiator with beam antenna;
– for irradiator with isotropic antenna.
Straight visibility formula takes into account atmospheric refraction only and play part of limiter at using
other methods. For numerical calculation here was applied graphical tool LabVIEW. Their analysis
shows that at low range straight visibility limit isn’t accomplished and shows itself at range increasing
only.
