Influence of Nanoparticle Polydispersity
on Thermophysical Characteristics of Nanofluids |

The paper analyzes approaches to obtaining nanof uids from the point of view of their dispersion.
The effects of introducing nanoparticles into the base fl uid are considered from the point of view
of the influence of their sizes on the values of heat capacity, thermal conductivity and viscosity of
the nanofluid. Experimental data confirm that various nanofluid indices depend on the size of the
nanoparticles, but do not take into account the density function of the distribution of nanoparticles
by size.
