As part of this work, an analysis of the hydrodynamic effects on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk was carried out using satellite data and fi eld measurements in different years. Comprehensive research is needed, including hydrological, geomorphological, geological and environmental observations. As well as the use of modern methods of remote sensing of the earth. This will allow us to develop more accurate models for predicting changes in the coastline and assess potential risks. The results obtained can be used to develop measures to manage the coastal zone and minimize the negative consequences of changes in the hydrological regime. In addition, the use of modern monitoring technologies allows not only to record changes, but also to predict them, which is an important aspect in planning future coastal protection measures.
