Autonomous Measuring Device of Vertical Profi le
of Sea Water Temperature |

The paper considers the issues of determining the static and dynamic error of an autonomous measuring
device of vertical profi le of temperature of marine environment at depths of up to 100 m. The device
in free immersion mode or sampling on board a vessel measures water temperature every 2 meters
according to the pressure sensor data. The measured data (water temperature profi le every 2 meters of
depth) are stored in the device memory. The features of the algorithm for processing information from a
semiconductor temperature sensor are considered. The results of laboratory studies of the inertia of the
temperature meter in the range of characteristic temperatures of the marine environment are presented.
