Numerical Analysis of Tsunami Manifestation
on the Coast of Sakhalin Island During
the Descent of Small Underwater Landslides |

The paper considers cases of small hypothetical underwater landslides in the Sea of Okhotsk. A series of
computational experiments were conducted using the NAMI DANCE_L software package, which solves
the equations of a two-layer fl ow. The possibility of tsunami wave generation and their manifestation
on the coast of Sakhalin Island were revealed. The features of wave formation in the tsunami source
were considered.
