Modeling the Transmission Coeffi cient
of a Micrometeoroid and Space Debris Sensor |

The paper proposes a method for measuring the parameters of micrometeoroids and space
debris particles by frequency analysis of the transmission coeffi cient of a fi lm metal strip
located on a dielectric base and to which a lumped inductance is connected in series.
Calculations have shown that the resonance of the oscillatory circuit formed from the
introduced inductance and capacitance resulting from the rupture of the metal strip depends
on the location of the microparticle impact. To calculate the transmission coeffi cient of the
metal strip, T and S matrices of the transmission line were used.
