Calibration of the Hardware Function of the Thermal
Radiation Spectrum Recorder of Gas-Thermal Particle
Flow Using a Reference Thermal Emitter |

The block diagrams of a thermal radiation spectrum recorder using an LR1 spectrometer and an
automated complex for calibrating the spectrum recorder and a temperature reference incandescent
lamp TRU 1100-2350 are presented. The thermal radiation spectra of the reference lamp recorded
for various reference temperatures were used to calibrate the hardware function of the recorder of
the thermal radiation spectrum of a gas-thermal particle fl ow, as well as to calibrate the correction
function of the recorded spectra. Methodological features and calculation formulas that implement
methods for recalibrating a temperature reference lamp and calibrating a spectrum recorder are
outlined. Approximating polynomials were obtained for the correction function of the recorded
spectra, which are necessary when solving the inverse problem of determining the temperature
distribution of particles during gas-thermal spraying of coatings.
