A hybrid approach to the numerical identifi cation of the hydrodynamic inlet section for pressure laminar fl ow of Newtonian fl uid in a horizontal fl at channel is proposed, based on preliminary linearization within the framework of unidirectional motion of the medium with the simultaneous expression of the axial pressure gradient through the difference in tangential stresses on the “wetted” surfaces of the channel, which made it possible to develop an explicit fi nite - a difference scheme that showed acceptable accuracy when compared with the test solution.
