On the Question of Levitation |

With the help of Einstein's equation it is shown that when the tensor of energy – the momentum
of the electromagnetic fi eld – is taken into account in their right-hand side along with the tensor
of matter a situation becomes quite real when the effect of weightlessness (or, according to the
terminology accepted in the literature levitation) becomes quite real. The paper presents detailed
physical reasoning concerning the qualitative analysis of the possible infl uence of the space-time
continuum of electromagnetic fi elds on the metric properties. The need to discuss this question is
dictated primarily by the fact that the formal introduction of any types of energy (momentum) into
the right-hand side of the basic equation of gravitation allows us to consider them as infl uencing
the metric properties of space-time. The paper also discusses the problem of the fractal dependence
of the mass of baryons on their lifetime which seems to be an important factor in predicting other
types of baryons. A specifi c value of the electric fi eld when the levitation effect can be implemented
is given.
