Engineering Physics Annotation << Back The Evaluation Technique for the Radar Cross Section of Axis-Symmetrical Refl ecting Objects Corsa S.Ya., Naumov N.D., Petrovsky V.P., Shkatov O.Yu. The calculation technique for backscattered by refl ecting surface electromagnetic wave fi eld is formulated on the basis of Huygens’ principle and the physical optics technique. It is shown that the radar cross section of axis-symmetrical refl ecting objects can be obtained by calculating of one-dimensional integrals. The radar cross sections of refl ecting conical surface are found and compared with experimental data. Keywords: radio wave, refl ecting surface, scattering, radar cross section.
