MOSKVITIN In this paper, options for recording single surge waves on an inclined shore in laboratory conditions were considered. A prototype of a device for contactless registration of surge waves in a pilot pool has been developed. The registration technique is based on measuring the capacitance of a flat capacitor, a device made on the basis of a capacitance-digital converter FDC1004 from Texas Instruments and an ATmega328P microcontroller as part of an Arduino Nano board.
