DEVELOPMENT OF A SIMULATION MODEL FOR THE INTERACTION OF WAVE ENERGY CONVERTERS OF A FLOATING WAVE POWER PLANT WITH A NON-UNIFORM WAVE FLOW |

The features of modeling a floating wave power plant (FWPP) in the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) module are considered. The main stages of modeling, the order of construction, the necessary initial and boundary conditions, the goals and results of calculations are presented and analyzed. The analysis and correction of the input parameters that determine the output parameters of the FWPP liquid flow are carried out. The optimization of the calculation process was carried out by comparing the obtained data on a 2-dimensional solver. The main stages of the interaction of wave disturbances with the design of the FWPP are determined. Plots of flow velocity, pressure, flow trajectory and volumetric flow have been constructed and analyzed.
