INVESTIGATION OF THE PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FORMATION WATER OF THE DRAKON DEPOSIT (VIETNAM) |

One of the new directions in the field of oil production intensification is the use of complexes based on enzymes. The results of studies of the water permeability of core samples before and after injection of the enzyme solution showed that when using the enzyme solution, the permeability of the sample increases. The purpose of this work was to analyze the physical and chemical characteristics of the formation waters of the «Dragon» field to assess the possibility of increasing oil recovery from the reservoirs of terrigenous reservoirs through the use of enzyme complexes. The Dragon field is located on the southern shelf of Vietnam, 120 km from the city of Vung Tau. The geological section of the Dragon area is represented by igneous and metamorphic basement rocks and sedimentary deposits. The degree of hydrogeological knowledge in different parts of the field is different, therefore, water samples were taken from the deposits of the Miocene and Oligocene of the «Dragon» field and the physicochemical characteristics of formation waters were determined separately for each site. It is shown that the salinity of the extracted water from the Dragon deposit varies in the range of 9–20 mg/l, which makes it possible to predict the possibility of precipitation of the components of the enzyme complex and to select the necessary additives for it.
