LAPTUKHOV, V.A. LAPTUKHOV An analytical approximation is obtained for the height-dependent ionization function in the surface layer of the atmosphere, taking into account soil radionuclides. The small-scale structure of the electric field, charge and parameters of atmospheric plasma in the surface layer of the atmosphere is calculated numerically and analytically. It is shown that the structure of the field and plasma in the surface layer is strongly influenced by the inconstancy of the real ionization function along the height.
