RATIONAL DESIGNS OF CHARGES DURING CRUSHING OF ROCKS AT GREAT DEPTHS |

The article presents the results of experimental studies of the action of explosive charges located in watered conditions characteristic of charges used at great depths. It is shown that for the effective explosion of the rock massif in conditions of watering, characteristic of work performed at great depths, charges with water and water-air intervals are very effective. A series of model experiments performed under various combinations of conditions for the transition of charge detonation into water or air made it possible to find the optimal parameters of charges and consider the possibility of a cavitation effect. The creation of a water gap in the charge of explosives is advisable in the case of strong watering of wells, which allows not only to reduce the specific consumption of explosives, but also to reduce the cost of drilling and blasting operations in general.
