APPLICATION OF A MULTICHANNEL SYSTEM FOR RECORDING THE DYNAMICS, SPECTRUM, AND ENERGY OF RADIATION FOR STUDYING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF LASER SEMICONDUCTOR TARGETS EXCITED BY AN LECTRON BEAM |

The characteristics of a multichannel system for recording the dynamics, spectrum, and energy of radiation in the pico and nanosecond ranges (MSR) are presented. The total number of channels 12 of which 9 can be used to record the radiation dynamics of individual elements of the object under study. To connect the object under study with the measuring equipment, a specially designed fiber-optic system is used. The scheme of the MSR and the characteristics of individual elements of the laboratory development: a fiber-optic system, а mini spectrometer and a multi-channel streak camera are considered. The maximum resolution of the spectral equipment in the range of 500–700 nm is – 0.06 nm. The dynamics of the radiation is recorded by a developed multi-channel high-speed electron-optical camera with a maximum resolution of 40 ps. The results of the use of MSR for the study of laser semiconductor targets (ST) excited by an electron beam (EB) obtained by explosive electron emission from a graphite cathode are presented. The maximum electron energy reached 200 keV and the current density was 1 kA/cm2 .During the ST studies, the electron beam current, dynamics, spectrum, and radiation energy were simultaneously recorded. The results obtained and the possibility of using the correlation of the dynamics of laser radiation with the ST excitation current in studies of explosive electron emission are discussed.
