RELAXATION PROCESSES IN THE WELL AFTER STARTING THE PUMP |

Computational experiments based on the problem of the relaxation field of pressure in a layered heterogeneous reservoir during filtration of hydrocarbons, taking into account the hydrodynamic effect of the well, made it possible to clarify the contribution of physical processes. By comparing the solutions of problems with and without taking into account the effect of the well, the contribution of relaxation processes and the characteristic relaxation time are refined. It is shown that at small times the well contribution increases with time, then it reaches a maximum, and at large times, the pressure field, with and without the infl uence of the well, converges. The parameters determining the processes of relaxation of the filtration pressure field are established.
