SPECIFICITY OF FLOW-REJECTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR CONDITIONALLY HOMOGENEOUS COLLECTORS WITH A SOLITARY HIGH-PERMEABILITY CHANNEL

The results obtained in the work make it possible to understand how the presence of a highly permeable channel affects the efficiency of flow diverting technology (POT). It has been shown that fl ow diverting technology in a collector with a highly permeable channel always has positive efficiency. At the same time, the magnitude of the POT effect substantially depends on the permeability of the main reservoir volume (the higher the permeability, the higher the effect of POT). The hydrodynamic component of the POT (change in the operating mode of the injection well) can have both a positive technological effect (in areas with «shadow» zones) and a negative effect (in areas without «shadow» zones). The observed rapid response of production wells to the use of POT is associated with a change in the operating mode of the injection well. The technological effect of the injection of the polymer solution appears after a few months (or years, depending on the permeability of the main volume of the reservoir). Moreover, the higher the permeability of the main reservoir volume, the faster this effect is manifested. Regardless of the presence of «shadow» zones, for a conditionally homogeneous collector with a single highly permeable channel, the fraction of the technological effect of polymer injection exceeds the fraction of the hydrodynamic component. Moreover, the absolute value of the share of the hydrodynamic component is greater, the higher the permeability of the reservoir. For areas with "shadow" zones, the sign of the effect of the hydrodynamic component is positive, for areas without "shadow" zones it is negative. The effect of injecting a polymer solution in a conditionally uniform permeability collector with a single highly permeable channel is always positive and exceeds the hydrodynamic component of the technology, therefore, the use of POT is recommended in this type of collector.
