Engineering Physics Annotation << Back Floquet-bloch functions method employment for the multilayer optical filter description D.KH. Nurligareev The Floquet-Bloch waves theory in the stratified periodic media applied for exact analytical description of the multilayer optical filter (mirror) considered as bound one-dimensional photonic crystal. It is shown the reflection coefficient function of the one-dimensional photonic crystal is similar that of traditional Fabry-Perot interferometer and determined by the interference of the Floquet-Bloch waves excited in the crystal.
