BELOUSOV Cheap explosives, which are the lowest priced source of explosion energy, are widely used for the destruction of rocks during mining process. The improvement of the cheap explosives is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the explosion, safe handling, and reducing production costs. Explosive efficiency is largely dependent on the balance of the composition and physical stability of the cheap explosives balance of the composition is ensured by the use of porous nitrate or smooth nitrate with powder materials capable of retaining liquid fuel. The choice of a method for ensuring physical stability to one degree or another depends on the technical limitations of the blasting technology used. In this work, we studied the properties of powdered fuel that affect the nature of the adhesive bond with the surface of the granules of ammonium nitrate - the granulometric composition of coal powder and coke breeze, the nature of the anisodiametricity of the particles. The effect on the properties of the mixture of ammonium nitrate – solid fuel forms of particles of coal powder and coke breeze, the ratio by weight to ammonium nitrate, the distribution of particles on the surface of the granules of ammonium nitrate is considered. It is shown that when using solid combustible components, it is necessary to take into account the adhesive properties of materials.
