SELF-TORQUE: MEASUREMENT AND INTERPRETATION |

Magnetizm is relativistic phenomenon therefore the third Newton’s law does not hold in its traditional form. It relates not only to the forces by means of which two parts of a system act on each other but to the torques. It last case, a source of magnetic field with the significant magnetization may be a part of the unclosed system, that enables to measure with high accuracy the self-torque by means of which two parts of the rotational unclosed system act on itself. Adequate consideration of the electric current in contacts joining two parts of the closed system is necessary to do the measurements of the self-torque exactly. Measurements and comparison of the obtained experimental results correspond to the existence and non-zero value of the rotary moment of self-action producing rotation of the unclosed electromechanical system consisting of the cylindrical magnet and the unclosed cylindrical conductor.
