MICROWAVE POWER TRANSMISSION FROM A SOLAR-SPACE POWER STATION- PROJECT OF THE FUTURE |

A comparison is made of two types of solar power plants – located on Earth and in space. The parameters of two types of solar-space power stations (SCES) are calculated: when placed in a geostationary orbit and with a circular altitude of 6000 km. It is proposed to obtain a microwave signal with a power of 1 GW using the method of mutual synchronization of multiple transistor generators and the use of a phased antenna array. It is argued that the project is only possible with the creation of a new generation of solar
cells.
