THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHES OF PROCESSES OF FORMATION OF FINELY DISPERSED SOLID WASTE DURING DRILLING OPERATIONS AT UNDERGROUND MINES
Yu.P. GALCHENKO

At the current level of technological development, the extraction of solid minerals is based on the destruction of the lithosphere substance through the use of mechanical energy or explosion energy, which inevitably leads to the formation of a powerful flow of mineral dust emitted by mining enterprises into the atmosphere during ventilation of mining operations. The interaction of mining with The earth’s atmosphere provides for the active use of its resource, transit and depositing functions. In environmental terms, this interaction is divided into two components: mine ventilation and air pollution by technogenic aerosols. The mechanisms of formation of fine fractions in shock-rotational and shock-rotary drilling methods are identical and differ only in the ratio of the volume of primary and secondary destruction of rock in the bottom. The total energy intensity of these processes is estimated by the specific energy consumption and the size of the newly formed surface. The theoretical and experimental studies have shown the validity of the hypothesis of the distribution of small particles according to the law. Kolmogorov. It was shown that the nanoscale is not less than 80…85 % of fine fractions. An important environmental value is set hydrophobicity of these factions, which is almost full do in mine atmosphere, even when using a drilling wash.
Key words: field development; solid waste; fine fractions; structures; drilling; boreholes and wells; energy intensity; granularity; environmental consequences.
