THE EFFECT OF CHARGE ON STABILITY OF PINNED NANOBUBBLES |

In the work theoretically analyzes the influence of charge on the stability of interfacial(surface) pinned nanobubbles, formed between water and smooth hydrophobic substrate. It is shown that the charge is the cause of the loss of stability and subsequent disappearance of these objects. The critical charge does not depend on the degree of supersaturation of water with gas and is only a function of the contact area of the nanobubble with the substrate and the surface tension coefficient of water.
