STRUCTURE AND PARAMETERS OF HIGH ENERGY PHOTONS. X-RAY AND GAMMA RANGES |

Generation of photons in quantum transitions between excited levels of atoms and ions within the Bohr radius is characterized by increased energy and a shorter radiation time. Estimates of the coherence length and the nature of the discrete excitations inside the X-ray photon structure are made. The generation processes on the geometric and energy scales of the atom, atomic nucleus and elementary particles are compared. The generality of the structure of photons of different ranges is revealed, and criteria are proposed for determining the boundaries of optical, X-ray and gamma quanta.
