ON THE RELEASE OF ENERGY IN THE NUCLEAR CASCADE |

Presents data relevant to the study of the results of the transformation of nuclides from the stability line and its vicinity in the flow of the particles of the nuclear cascade initiated by relativistic ions. The expression for channels, including peripheral complete splitting of atomic nuclei into clusters of helium and/or hydrogen with minimal energy consumption, is formulated. It is shown that the release of energy is possible with the transmutation of such particles of all types of nuclei without exception, as well as baryonic transformation products of the latter. It is argued to obtain a positive energy balance during transmutation in the nuclear cascade of actinides, their cleavage products and activation. It is noted that during the operation of the relevant devices, the technology implemented in them provides for the extraction of helium, nitrogen, oxygen and other chemical elements from the core that do not have radionuclides with a half-life, for example, more than 2 hours, and bringing to a condition that ensures the release of the substances obtained from the norms and rules of radiation safety.
