Engineering Physics Annotation << Back CHAOTIC DYNAMICS OF INTERACTING PENDULUMS (DECISION OF SYNCHRONIZATION PROBLEM) S.O. GLADKOV, S.B. BOGDANOVA On the example of two coplanar metal pendulums suspension points, which are on the same horizontal level at a fi xed distance apart, it’s shown the principal possibility of synchronization due to only two factors. 1. An electromagnetic interaction between them and 2. The account of an electromagnetic radiation leading to the nonlinear attenuation. Received the system of non-linear dynamic equations of motion and given an analytical assessment of the synchronization time tsynchr, confi rmed by numerical solution obtained equations. It’s noted the satisfactory of agreement with an experimental results. Key words: electromagnetic interaction, electromagnetic radiation, coplanar pendulums, nonlinear equations.
