Engineering Physics Annotation << Back MICROSEISMS AT SCHUMANN RESONANCE FREQUENCIES A.V. LUKANENKOV The results of seismic noise processing at five «quiet» seismic stations are presented. According to the results of spectral analysis, the eff ect was established:the deviation (increase) of the spectral power density of seismic noise is about 8 Hz. The confi dence level of this Pfinal effect is almost 1. The observed effect is global in nature and, apparently, is a consequence of the influence of the fi rst mode of the Schumann waves. The detected eff ect does not depend on the type of seismic receivers.
