ON ELECTRIC FIELD OF ROTATING MAGNETIZED SPHERE |

A rotating magnetized body is modeled as having the volume with infinitesimal magnetic dipoles oriented in direction of angular velocity. In the inertial frame of references, the moving magnetic dipole possesses the electric dipole moment and therefore produces the electric field. Also the moving magnetic dipole creates the vortex electric field. The net electric field produced by magnetic dipoles of all the magnetized body has two components but only one these can be identical to that typical to traditional interpretation of the unipolar induction. The calculated electric field produced by the rotating magnetized sphere differs from the known solutions. The main difference is in the internal region of magnetized sphere. In the external region the electric field is quadrupole one.
