ABOUT CALCULATION OF PARTICLE SIZE OF CRUSHING OF ROCKS BY EXPLOSION |

Determination of energy parameters of the explosion at the crushing of rocks is an important scientifi c and technical problem, as it gives the opportunity to effi ciently use energy explosion and to the rock mass of the required quality. One of the criteria proposed by the authors that determine the granulometric composition of the crushed rock mass explosion in the future is the energy density. It is the amount of energy transferred to a specific volume of rock mass that will determine whether a new surface can be formed and what size. The article describes the relationship of the sizes of pieces fragmented by blasting the rock mass with the passed in array with the energy of the explosion. Analytical dependences linking the energy parameters of the explosion with the size of the formed pieces of rock mass are presented.
