THE RATIONALE OF THE SIMULATION MODEL OF MI NING-ALTERED SUBSOIL, AS A NEW GEOECOLOGICAL OBJECT LITHOSPHERE
Yu.P. GALCHENKO

Earth's bowels, as part of the natural environment, have environmental functions that
refl ect the participation of subsoil in the circulation of matter and energy, which has
consequences for nature and society, and are implemented through resource geodynamic,
geophysical and geomechanical components. At the same time, the lithosphere is exposed
to the most large-scale changes in the quantitative and qualitative sense, part of which is
extracted to the surface and included in the external circulation of matter and energy. The
simulation model of man-made subsurface changes can be represented as a deterministic
set of local models refl ecting the three main States of the rock mass, identifi ed as a solid
with a structure in the form of multi-scale inhomogeneities. The relaxation rate of stresses
on them is proportional to the magnitude of stresses and inversely proportional to the
perimeter of the outer circuit. The state of the rock mass in the zone of transition of
properties (geophysical Ecoton) from the unperturbed lithosphere to the zone of direct
technogenic infl uence corresponds to the static model of deformation of a solid body with
a structure when creating a cavity of variable volume in it by gradual extraction of the
lithosphere material. The zone of geophysical changes in the lithosphere sections adjacent
to the zone of its total man – made destruction can be interpreted as a geophysical Ecoton,
which is a system that has a discrete internal boundary and a continuum-external and has
a high gradient of property changes initiated by the processes of extraction of minerals.
Key words: exploitation of mineral resources, the functions of the lithosphere, ecology, technogenic changed the
subsoil structure, the General and local models, rock mass, man-made destruction, geophysical ecotone.
