Engineering Physics Annotation << Back LIGO EXPERIMENT AND QUANTUM ELECTRODYNAMICS Yu.L. RATIS The critical analysis of results of experiments of LIGO from the point of view of classical and quantum electrodynamics is done. It is shown that the declared error of measurements of LIGO is unattainable from the point of view of electrodynamics. The scheme of check experiment (experimentum crucis) for the purpose to establish the limits of applicability of quantum electrodynamics and its opportunities for search of gravitational waves in interferential experiments is offered.
