DUBROVIN The physical principle of the work of the Van de Graaf generator has not yet been finally clarifi ed, but there is only a technical scheme of the generator. There are no calculated relationships that make it possible to calculate such a generator. The article presents the physical scheme of the generator and shows that the principle of its operation is based on the use of the law of parametric self-induction. Calculation relationships are also obtained, which make it possible to calculate the parameters of the generator.
