Engineering Physics Annotation << Back ALGORITHM OF CALCULATION THE REFRACTIVE INDEX FOR METALLIC COATING OF THE DISTANT OBJECTS BY MEANS OF PHOTOMETRIC TECHNIQUES I.V. BODROVA, О.А. BODROV, D.A. NAUMOV During photometric studies of distant cosmic objects there is an acute problem of the identifi cation of the coating material of the objects under study. In this paper there is proposed an algorithm of calculation of refractive index for metallic surfaces of the distant objects, which identify the type of coating material. The experiment with models was put in practice on the optic setup, improved by polarizing unit. Realized experiment had demonstrated a suffi ciently high accuracy of proposed algorithm.
