SURNIN, D.E. GUY In this paper the spectroscopy of extended fine structure of electron energy loss as the method of analysis of the local atomic structure of the surface are considered. The local atomic structure of pure metals and 3d- respective stoichiometric oxides are analyzed. The possibility of obtaining a local atomic structure parameters – coordination numbers, partial interatomic distances, and the parameters of their dispersion are shown.
