ON A PARTIAL SOLUTION OF THE DIFFUSION EQUATION |

The process of establishing equilibrium spatial distribution of the concentration of particles on which a constant force acts is considered. The particles are one-dimensional region of space with impermeable borders, to which a constant force is normal. This process is described by the solution of the third boundary value problem with homogeneous boundary conditions of two-dimensional parabolic equation. It is shown that the solution is found, it would seem axiomatic problems of mathematical physics, but of great signifi cance in applications can not be obtained using well-known in the literature of the Green function of this problem.
