NEW TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF CONTROL SYSTEMS POSITION SENSORS |

Characteristics of position sensors based on wire potentiometers are largely determined by the resistance element manufacturing technology. On a technical basis of JSC «Scientific-Research Institute of electro-mechanical devices» work was carried out, aimed at the study of the factors infl uencing the process of winding the resistive element. Based on the data obtained were given practical recommendations to improve the situation of the
manufacture of sensor technology. In order to improve manufacturing techniques sensors monitoring technique functional characteristics of the resistive element was developed by analyzing its image, produced using scanning electron microscopy. Introduction of an intermediate stage control using this technique reduced the marriage in the production from 50 % to 20…30 %. Thus, the use of advanced equipment and inspection techniques has allowed to create position sensors based on potentiometer, with characteristics that are not inferior to foreign analogues.
