THE ELECTRIC FIELD AND ITS SPATIAL DISTRI BUTION MEASURING SETUP IN THE PULSES OF MICROWAVE RADIATION MEGAWATT POWER LEVEL |

Plasma relativistic UHF – generator produces radiation in the frequency range from 2 to 25 GHz with a power of 50...100 MW. Generation of a monochromatic radiation and radiation with a broad spectrum can be possible in a single pulse generation mode or batch mode frequency (up to 50 pulses per second). The microwave pulses, depending on the electron accelerator, can have a duration from 30 ns to 600 ns [1...10]. Created generator allows alteration of the emission spectrum from pulse to pulse (or in a singlefrequency periodic mode), and during one pulse [5]. Thus, a change in plasma density can control a center frequency, and spectral width. To study this operation modes of the PRG must have that means of recording the microwave radiation, which allows us to register short pulses of microwave radiation at a power level of about 100 MW. In this article, with the help of CAD Ansoft HFSS 13.0, a numerical models of antennas with different geometric parameters were established and the receiving antenna with the optimal settings for measuring microwave radiation spectra in the required frequency range at the level of the electric fi eld strength of up to 5 kV / cm has been proposed. For the electric fi eld distribution diagnosis in a microwave beam cross section at distance from radiating horn the registration screen glow were used.
