EXPLOSIVE BOILING OF THIN LIQUID FILM DURING HEATING AND EVAPORATION IN THE LIMITED VOLUME |

Vaporization and explosive boiling of thin liquid fi lm (initial thickness 48 nm) during its intense heating is investigated in the framework molecular dynamic simulation in the case when the vapor expansion is not free due to impenetrable boundaries of the considered
volume (268 nm). It is shown that this conditions give rise to some delay of the explosive boiling beginning as compared with free expansion case with the same energy deposition rate 4K/ps. The explosive boiling process resembles that corresponding free expansion case at higher energy deposition rate (8 K/ps) where the explosive boiling begins at
higher temperature.
