ON THE WORK TRANSFORMER WITH THE FERROMAGNETIC CORE |
F.F. MENDE
The possibility of the energy transfer of one winding to another without the presence of galvanic contact between them is the special feature of the work of any transformer. Moreover the nearer are located the turns of primary and secondary windings, the greater
the coupling coeffi cient between the windings. If the discussion deals with the transformer
without the ferromagnetic core, then that case, when windings are wound by bifi lar method,
is optimum version. The presence of common ferromagnetic core substantially increases
coupling coeffi cient between the windings, spread in the space, but in the teaching
aids and other publications there is no description of the physical processes, which ensure this process. In the article it is shown, why the presence of ferromagnetic core increases the inductance of winding, and also how the presence of this core increases coupling coeffi cient between the windings and ensures the energy transfer of one winding to another.
Key words:transformer, inductance, ferromagnetic, coupling coeffi cient.
