In this paper, we study theoretically the possibility of the existence of a weak discontinuity in the density of strong ionized nonisothermal plasma. In non-isothermal plasma sound vibration branch exists only in the case of strong non-isothermal, when the temperature of the plasma is constant. Under these conditions, the only possible perturbation is the perturbation of the plasma density. It is shown that under the conditions of weak nonlinearity in the ion-acoustic wave discontinuity in the density of plasma is absent; perhaps, it’s possible the existence of a weakly nonlinear solitary waves (solitons). Investigate the structure of a solitary wave: found waveform, its amplitude and width of the front. Key words: sdiscontinuity in the density, solitary wave (soliton), waveform, the Debye length.
