Generation of shock waves in explosive processes
at cathode with and magnetic field

The results of investigation of shock waves formation and expansion during the explosive processes on the cathode and the spark channel expansion as well as the shock waves peculiarities of development in magnetic fields are presented in the article. It is shown, that the expending cathode spot plasma forms hydrocarbon, carrying over ionization front along the direction of electric field with more speed than along the radial direction. Dilatational magnetic field interference leads to speed decrease of precathode plasma expansion along the radial direction. Speed decrease of plasma channel expansion in neutral gas stipulates for magnetic pressure jump on the channel boarder, that leads to decrease of hydrocarbon intensity, to energy decrease, that goes to hydrocarbon expansion and increase of inner plasma energy and its radiation. It is shown, that speed of cathode spot expansion in the air within the similar energy supply is much less than speed of cathode spot expansion in argon. The spectral structure of plasma radiation is studied, the intensity increase of some spectral lines in dilatational magnetic field is found.
