Powerful broadband source based on Yb-doped GTWave fiber |

We realized broadband light source in the spectral range 1025…1125 nm, based on Yb-doped GTWave fiber, pumped into the cladding. GTWave fiber consists of two fiber optic (active and passive), enclosed in a polymer clad. To pump the fiber we have used laser diode with the maximum power of 7 W at the wavelength of 936 nm. Maximum output power of 117 mW and spectral width of 44 nm at the lev-el of –10 dB were measured. The source was used to test reflection and transmis-sion spectra of the Bragg.
