DEFINITION PARAMETRES OF MODEL FORMATION OF HYDRIDES |

We consider the following nonlinear inverse problem: to determine the parameters of the model of metal powder hydriding by experimental data. A single symmetric powder particle is considered. The hydriding process consists of two stages: formation of the solid hydride skin on the powder’s surface, and its further growth. The models take into account not only diffusion, but also adsorption and desorption processes. The first stage is described by explicit formulae, the model of the second is the boundary-value problem with a free bound. The model equations are derived from the matter conservation law. We present the identification algorithm which does not need special software. Explicit formulae or systems of a few algebraic equations are obtained for the parameters.
